In 2014 he became a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova from the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM). Five years later, he obtained another seat in the Parliament, also from the PSRM, and became deputy-president of the Legal Commission for Appointments and Immunities. He is part of the parliamentary faction of the Socialists as secretary and member of the Republican Council of the PSRM.

As a law graduate, he worked for the State Information Agency "Moldpres", Municipal Hospital no. 4 and the Moldovan-German company "T.Schmidt Landbau". Before becoming a deputy, he was the head of the Legal Department of the "Solution" Charity Foundation, founded by the current President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon.
