Biography
Ruslan Mova was appointed the minister of the interiors in the unrecognized Transnistrian republic at the end of 2016, when Vadim Krasnoselsky took over as the new president of the secessionist enclave in eastern Moldova.
Mr. Mova started his career as a crime police investigator in 1992 and four years later he was promoted to the chief of unit at the Internal Affairs Department in Tiraspol. In 2000 he changed the job for the Department Against Organized Crime and Corruption which he led between 2002 and 2012.
In early 2015 Ruslan Mova took over as the interim deputy chairman of Agroprombank, Transnistria’s largest commercial bank that is part of the Sheriff business group.
