She is a trusted person of Moldovan President Igor Dodon, former Socialist leader.

Alla Dolinta and her husband Igor Dolinta are both members and major sponsors of the Moldovan Socialists Party (PSRM). In the November 2014 campaign, for instance, they donated more than half a million lei to the party while posting less than 180.000 lei in revenues for that year. She was rewarded with a place in Parliament in two consecutive elections.

PSRM headquarters is located in a Chisinau downtown building in possession of the Dolinta family via a firm. The firm was sold to a Cypriot offshore company whose interests were represented again by the Dolinta family.
