Mircea Rosioru entered the judiciary system in 2001, with a license in law from the Oradea University, Romania. He got hired as an interim assistant to the prosecutor of the County of Lapusna, Moldova. Later he passed the stages of assistant and senior assistant to the same prosecutor, even after the administrative-territorial reform; his work place now was in the Hincesti District. His next job was in the Anticorruption Prosecution Office, where he worked for two years.

In October 2006 Mr. Rosioru joined the Prosecutor-General’s Office as part of the crime investigations section. In 2010 he took over the interim leadership in the judicial department and months later was formally appointed as its chief.

In January 2014 Mr. Rosioru was elected the chairman of the High Council of Prosecutors. Three years later then Prosecutor-General Eduard Harunjen offered him the post of his deputy, which was maintained by Alexandr Stoianoglo, the new Prosecutor General.
