Chiril Motpan is a philologist and lawyer by training. His entire career has been attached to the police – whom he dedicated 15 years of life. He has been awarded two Merit Crosses for outstanding performance. His duties covered media communication and public relations mainly.
Mr. Motpan is the general secretary of the Dignity and Truth Party (DA) and could be often seen in DA-led protests against the oligarchic regime in Moldova during 2015-2017. In the February 2019 parliamentary elections Chiril Motpan competed on behalf of ACUM bloc that included DA, in the constituency №39 - Sarata Galbena. He lost to Democrat Ghenadie Buza but obtained an entry ticket from the national candidate list where his name was on the tenth spot.
