After his graduation from the Law Department of the Moldovan State University, Dumitru Mardari got employed as a consultant in the Supreme Court of Republic of Moldova. In 1994 he was appointed as a magistrate at the Ciocana District Court in Chisinau, and 8 years later he was promoted to serve as the chairman of this institution; he served in that position until 2010.
In 2014 Mr. Mardari became a judge at the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ). In November 2019, he took over as the interim chair of CSJ’s panel for trade, administrative and civil affairs, following the suspension of Oleg Sternioala from this office.
