Radu Marian entered politics in 2016 in the ranks of the PAS party of Maia Sandu. He quickly rose to become a member of its standing board. In the February 2019 elections he won a seat in Parliament on the national list of ACUM (a bloc of PAS and DA).
Before embracing a political life he acted for three years as a consultant at the independent analytical center Expert-Grup. For one year he worked at the Moldovan Association of ITC Companies & Tekwill, where he co-founded and coordinated the educational project TwentyTu.
In Moldova he completed a higher education in banks and finance, and then studied international business, marketing, and political communication abroad.
