Stefan Pavlov was appointed as the commander of the Carabineer Troops in late November 2019. Prior to this assignment he had worked for almost three years as the chief of the labor safety and health department at one of the largest construction manufacturers in Moldova.
His career in the law enforcement forces began in 2000, following ten years of higher military training and law studies in Russia, Romania, and Moldova. His experience counts the service in the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Department for Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption, the Fulger Special Police Team, the Scut Patrol Regiment, and the National Patrol Inspectorate. In 2015-2016, Mr. Pavlov led the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Internal Protection and Anticorruption Service.
