In December 2015, Mrs. Grigoriu was elected deputy chairwoman of the Dignity and Truth Platform (DA). Before embracing politics, she had been remarked as a civic activist. During 2003-2017 she worked as a manager for a number of private firms in Chișinău.
A RISE Moldova investigation demonstrates that in 2016, PDM-controlled law-enforcing agencies taped the phone conversations of Inga Grigoriu along with other opposition politicians, journalists and activists, in a dossier called “Mass Disorders.” The official investigation launched after DA leaders had called on voters at a press conference to take to the streets for protests and rally in the Great National Assembly Square.
At the parliamentary elections on 24 February 2019 Inga Grigoriu was fielded as a candidate both in the party list and competing in the uninominal constituency №25 Chisinau (Botanica), on behalf of ACUM bloc of PAS and DA. She won in the uninominal poll.
