Marin Maxian’s career in the police force started in the patrol and guard service, and later continued as a local inspector in the municipality of Chisinau. In 2006 his career advanced till the post of chief of the General Directorate for Public Order within the Ministry of Interior Affairs’s Police Department.
In 2014 Mr. Maxian was appointed chief of the National Patrol Inspectorate (INP) and two years later he was in charge with public security at the General Police Inspectorate (IGP). in February 2019 he returned to INP, the same office. A few months later however he resigned from INP and took over as deputy director of the Emergency Inspectorate-General at IGP. In June 2020 Marina Maxian was promoted to deputy director of IGP.
Marin Maxian has not mentioned any residential possession in his official property statement.
